Townie

Even though it is an “old fashioned” title, I give it a modern twist, Merriam Webster describes a housewife as a married woman who is in charge of her household.  Yep, that is pretty much me –  IN CHARGE of my household, my kids, my schedule, my days!  I am a wife, mother, daughter, cook, chauffeur, Girl Scout leader, a frequenter of the gym, the master of coupons, an avid reader….you name it, I have probably managed to fit it in a day.  I deserve a six figure salary (at least!) for the amount of work I do everyday.  Between dropping off 2 kids in several different places a day and running errands for the household, my car should charge me rent because I practically live in it during most days!

I love travelling.  Each and every time I go somewhere it becomes more and more obvious that New Jersey is “home”.  As much as I like experiencing new places, most of them just show me yet another place in which I would never like to live.

I am the queen of a “good deal” and I love to shop!  Enough said!

When I am stressed I bake and/or go to the gym.  It’s a symbiotic relationship.

I also manage to keep a clean house (tsk tsk, Bumpkin!! LOL).
